Two hundred seasons have turned since peace settled like a gentle mist over the land of Ambermoore. In this time, the kingdom has seen a resurgence, as nature, the lifeblood of the land, has reclaimed its rightful place under the guardianship of the true ruler, the Tree of Life. But the history of this land is not one of constant serenity.
The early settlers of Ambermoore sought to dominate the natural world, their unchecked ambition and carelessness pushing the land's flora and fauna to the verge of extinction. However, a turning point arrived... the environment began to deteriorate, the soil lost its fertility, and an ominous chill spread across the land, signaling the start of even graver troubles.
